What
is your turnaround time?
Our turnaround time is usually 7-10 business days from the time
your order is placed, assuming you have camera-ready artwork.
After artwork is approved your order will be completed within
4 business days or sooner.
Can
you recreate my artwork?
Yes, we have a very talented design team that will recreate your
logo or idea to exact specifications or add to and improve upon
an idea.
What
kind of artwork do I need to provide?
You can bring in your own art or your idea, provided it matches
our requirements for Artwork.
Vector Graphic Artwork:
Freckles Graphics prefers EPS files or Adobe Illustrator native
files up to version 10. Adobe Illustrator EPS vector format is
a reliable format. Any other vector file from Freehand or Corel,
for instance, is not guaranteed to open correctly.
PDFs that are editable may also work.
NOTE: Be sure all text is converted to paths or outlines &
include placed images, if any.
Raster Graphic Artwork:
(TIFFs, EPSs, PSDs) should be at least 300 dpi at original size.
RGB or CYMK is acceptable. Low resolution images (72 dpi) or most images from the Internet are NOT acceptable.
If you have original, non-digital artwork to be scanned is should
be no larger than 9" X 12".
If none of the above is available, a last option is a clean black
and white laser print out.

Why
do I need an underbase?
In some cases you will need to apply a base coat of white or
gray to a garment so that the the visible inks will be vibrant.
This underbase goes on first and is not visible. This is typically
needed when printing light to medium ink colors on medium to dark
garments. Such as red ink on a navy garment or yellow ink on a
black garment.

What
are the standard screen print sizes?
Art size for YOUTH
Back and Front Designs: Generally not wider than 9.25"
Art usually does not exceed 14" tall
(S-M-L): Our Youth Plats are 10" X 16"
Art size for ADULT
Back Designs: Generally not wider than 14"
Front Designs: Generally not wider than 12"
(S-M-L): Our Adult Plats are 15"X16"
Sleeve Prints are generally 3.5" wide and up to 15"
long.
Sleeve plat is 4" X 17"
Heart Prints: 3" - 4"
NOTE: Many finished design sizes are subject to their basic shape
(circular or rectangular) and how they will look on a particular
garment. For example, circles appear larger. A 14" diameter
circle will look too big for a full back design. Also an entire
design may look smaller on sweatshirts because of their boxy size.
Freckles artists may make the designs a little larger to compensate.
Sizing of designs is sometimes arbitrary due to the client needs,
current trends in design, or what type of garment you are printing
on.
